With our trusty Blulinc app in hand, finding charging stations on the road was never a challenge. These stations were conveniently integrated into existing gas stations along our route, which made charging super fast and efficient-perfect for a short break.

The charging sessions took no longer than 20 minutes each time - note I set the filter to power type DC "fast charging" and the minimum power to 150kW.

What was interesting was our observation that while Tesla stations were available, they were often not ideally placed for quick stops. This made the Blulinc app and charging stations near the highway even more appealing.

The trip proved that long distances with an electric car are absolutely feasible with proper planning and infrastructure. And while everything went smoothly, we experienced the lack of an AC charging point at our campsite-an issuefor locations that have yet to make the transition to electric.
